預定机票

Andrew 和我在今月9號去阿德萊德四天。在七月，我在Jetstar綱上預訂來回機票，並用很便宜的價錢$ 430預訂了兩張机票。為了省付 信用卡加付費，我選擇通過銀行轉帳，但這將需要大約四天內確認付款。

經過十天左右我還沒有收到回覆，所以一個晚上我打個電話給他們。Jetstar 職員說她找不到我的預訂。然後我發現了我當時打錯了reference no, 本來是大楷i, 但我用 1代替。

所以她說他們並沒有接受這一預訂，而這筆錢將退還給我的賬戶，並建議我重新預訂。然後她說，我當時預定的日期是6號而不是9號！

很顯然，我做了預訂的時候犯​​了兩個錯誤，打錯日期和reference no., 但由於他們說交易沒有通過，我是歡天喜地高高興興的再預訂，這時候用正確的日期8月9日，還得到一個更便宜的價格$ 390 兩張來回機票。

有趣的是，第二天早上，我在電子郵箱收到了8月6日的預定確認，我馬上致電Jetstar, 因為是她們通告知我再進行一次預訂, 所從他們欣然同意退還第一次預定的錢給我。

這是令人難以置信的，我真的被宇宙中所有的諸天善神照顧很好：能夠重新預訂了正確的日期並得到更低的價格。

這是我唱唸南無妙法蓮華經秋我的佛法修行的功德。

Jetstar

andrew and i went to adelaide on aug 9-12.  last month i tried to book flights on jetstar, found a good deal for $430 for two return tickets on the internet and booked.  to save money on credit card charges, i chose to pay by bank transfer, which would take about four days to confirm.

After about ten days i still had not heard from them so i gave them a call one evening.  the operator asked for the booking reference and said she could not find my booking.  i then found out that instead of an I, (capital i), i typed in no. 1 instead.

so operator said since they did not confirm this booking, money will be refunded back to my account, and suggested that i rebook.  then she said  i was booked on AUG 6-12, instead of aug 9!

obviously i made a mistake when doing the booking, but since they said transaction did not come thru, i was soooo happy to make another booking, this time with the right date, AUG 9-12 , and found  an even much cheaper price, ie

$390 for two returns.

interestingly enough, the very next morning, the oringial booking for Aug 6 came through to my email, i immediately called Jetstar who graciously agreed to refund this money to me since i was advised to make and had made another booking.

this is incredible! i am really being looked after nicely by all the positive forces in the universe: being able to rebook on the correct date without penalty and at even lower prices.   i owe this to my chanting nam myo ho renge kyo and my buddhist practice.

上週我參加了一個SGI研討會, 其中一位會員說，她在十月將被轉移到一個新的工作岡位在，她对這未知的將來有小小担心。
我記得曾讀過一個故事，關於一個老人，他將會入住到一個遠程的養老院。他的朋友問他是否會開心，他說：‘’我當然會，因為我現在已經决定我將會很開心“
因此，我給這個會員說：你的未來是'知'的，因為你可以念誦南無妙法蓮華經和决意無論在任何地方，做任何事都會很快樂。
我們的成功失敗，快樂或苦惱全賴於一個瞬間的思想。

Fear of the Unknown

last week when i attended a sgi discussion meeting, a member said she would be transferred to a new job in oct/nov and she is a bit anxious for fear of the unknown.

I remember reading a story about a very old guy who was going to be admitted into a remote retirement home. His friends asked if he would be happy there and he said: of course i will be, because i have already determined that i will be happy there."

therefore i said to this member: your future is 'known', because you can chant nam myo ho renge kyo and determined to be happy, whatever you do and wherever you are.

our success, or failure in our life depends on just one moment of thought.

in buddhism this is called 'Ichinen sanzen'

一件有趣的事

我想和大家分享一件有趣的事。

今天下午，我到了一個購物中心去吃我最喜歡的雞肉串。當我吃完站起身來之後，一個坐我在旁邊的女人就開始跟我說話，她說：我兒子有興趣.....，我因聽不到她在說什麼，她重複了好幾次。

然後，她大聲說：“我的兒子對你感興趣，我們可以時常再見你嗎?

我感到非常驚訝，回頭一看, 見到坐在她對面的兒子是一位年齡大約廿多歲及智商稍微遲鈍的年輕人。

我不知道該如何應對，所以說：我已結婚，並有兩個孩子。

她顯得很驚訝。我沒有繼續告訴她的是：我已有三個孫子了!  (因為我知道這會嚇死了她)

回想起來，我知道這年輕人不是對我有興趣，而是因為我的慈悲, 每天唸南無妙法蓮華經, 努力做佛法修行及宣揚佛法, 令我的生命發出良好的振動力和頻律，令接近的人感到舒服。這個年輕人不是對我感興趣，而是他能感覺到我的好頻率，並想和我說話及分享。

唱唸喃'無妙法蓮華經' 可以將我們自身最好的能量帶動出來!

 

Funny event

am going to tell you something very funny.

this afternoon i went to a shopping centre and had my favorite chicken kebab.  when i had finished and stood up, a woman sitting right next to my table started to talk to me, she said: my son is interested....., i couldnt hear what she was saying and she repeated a couple of times.

then she said in a loud voice: "my son is interested in YOU! can we see you more often???"i was very surprised and looked at her son who was sitting opposite her.  i saw a slightly retarded young man below 30.

 

i didnt know how to respond and said: i am married, and have two children.

 

She seemed very surprised.  what i hadnt told her was: i also have three grandchildren, ( this will scare the ............ out of her.)

 

looking back, i think it is not me that he is interested in, its the good vibration i generate from my chanting, my compassion in people and my effort in buddhist practice that makes peope feel good.  this young man is not interested in me, but rather he could feel my good frequency and would like to share .

 

chanting nam myo ho renge kyo and efforts in kosen rufu can bring forth the best in us!
